A big 'ol Thank You!!

We wanted to say Thank You to everyone who attended and helped out with refreshments for Blake and Jayden's baptism!!

It was on Saturday, Feb 21st, 2009. So many family and friends attended. We are thankful for each and every person who attended and supported Blake and Jayden.

Grandma Clerc - for your talk on The Holy Ghost, and for the yummy cookies.

Aunt Stacey - for saying the closing prayer in front of that big crowd, and the cookies. Also, for the awesome blankets! They were perfect for the kids.

Taylor Clerc - for your awesome talk on Baptism.

Leea Clerc - We loved your poem, it was amazing.

Grandpa Clerc and Uncle Dave - for being witnesses.

Kathy Clerc - for the cookies, and answering the 50 million questions that I had.

Mitchell Clerc - for baptizing the kids, and confirming them too. You were amazing and are such a positive influence for the kids. They look up to you so much.

The whole Reynolds family - It was so awesome of so many of them to attend, they didn't have to, but they were there to support us all. I think that was amazing!

Uncle Brett, Jason, Jessica, Lola, Kellyn, Aaron - Thank you all for your support and love!

Uncle Deon, Aunt April, Hunter - Thank you for the email you guys sent. We understand you couldn't be there and are thankful for your prayers on that day.

Uncle Drew, Aunt Rebecca, Moriah, Daison, Janella, baby Dylan - Thank you for sending your prayers and love.

Also, thank you to the missionaries that taught Blake and Jayden, and probably answered more questions from Blake then they have ever had before. We are thankful that Elder Owens was able to come to the baptism even though he had been transfered. Blake really looked up to Elder Owens. Elder Owens would sit and debate and challenge Blake.

-* If I left anyone out, it wasen't on purpose. There was so much love and support for our family. We want to say Thank You again, and we love everyone!

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! ... a little late.

Blake and Jayden left on Friday to head to the dunes with Uncle Brett, Taylor, Leea, Lola and Lola's boyfriend, Todd. They were so excited to go and were all packed and ready to go.

Dana left on Friday with Luke, one of Ty's friends, to haul a load of Jersey calves to San Angelo, Texas. They left at about 7pm Friday evening and they got back into town at 1am Sunday morning with some older Jerseys cows. It was a fast trip and they made good time. Luke was very happy that Dana was able to go with him. This was a new thing for Dana, he usually hauls Holsteins with Ty. Jerseys and Holsteins have totally different personalties. The Holsteins are more laid back, go where you want them to go and they don't try and get away. The Jerseys are laid back and calm too, but they will look for anyway to get out and run off. I laugh to myself, thinking about Dana trying to herd these cows, only because, if you know Dana.. cows are not something that he knows much about, or even likes. But he does his job and gets those cows where they need to go. I am impressed with how much he has learned about cows, and the cow hauling business in the last year or so.

I spent the weekend home alone. It was really nice to spend some time to myself and just do nothing! I stayed in my Pj's all day long. I didn't clean house, or cook meals. It was great!

Dana took me out on a date on Sunday night for a late Valentines dinner. We went to the Texas Roadhouse. It is a great place for steaks! I love steaks! We had a great time and it was nice to spend some alone time.

Dana hauled some cows over the weekend.

Dana hauled some dairy cows to Northern California over the weekend with Ty. They left Friday night from Maricopa, Az headed up north of Fresno, Cali. They hauled some older babies, they were about 6 months old. When they got to the dairy in Cali, they loaded up some big momma milk cows to bring back to a dairy in Buckeye. At the dairy in California, they had an English Bulldog rounding up the cows, cutting the ones that were getting loaded, and pushing them up the ramp to get on the truck. Dana was so excited to see a Bully working, he had to call me and tell me about it. As most of you know, we are HUGE bulldog lovers, and to see a Bulldog doing something besides being lazy is really cool to us.

Dana got his camera out to take some pictures... and had dead batteries!! No one around had any batteries to spare, so he had to snap a few pictures with his cellphone. He said, the dog was constantly on the move, checking cows, and didn't want to participate in getting his picture taken.

Student of the......

MONTH!! Yea, Jayden! Jayden's school held their awards ceremony last week, and Jayden won Student of The Month for December! She got a nice certificate and a sticker for my truck. Well done Jayden, I am so proud of you!!
